We are looking for an experienced HVAC service technician capable of working in light commercial settings; providing HVAC maintenance service to our customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- knowledge to repair and maintain a wide range of light commercial HVAC equipment; ranging from centrifugal chillers to window air conditioning units
- work will also include changing filters and preventative maintenance on light commercial and residential units.
- Work directly with customers to ensure their technical needs are met.
- Complete service and inspection reports, timesheets and other required documents in a professional, accurate, neat and legible manner and submit same in a timely manner and in accordance with established guidelines
Qualifications
- 8-10+ years of experience in commercial facilities
- Universal CFC Certification, HVAC Degree or Certification required; Chiller and BAS Control experience required
- Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable to drive a company vehicle
- Must be willing to occasionally work evenings or weekends when required. Very little overtime.
- Must be able to pass the criminal background check required to work in educational facilities with children present

- Demonstrate basic computer skills for research, communication, and recordkeeping
Physical:
- This employment expects about 50% outdoor - 50% indoor work and typically requires long periods of standing
- Must be able to work on lifts, scaffolding, tall ladders and also in crawl spaces and other confined areas
- Must be capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance
Full time:
40 hrs. Mon- Fri with occasional weekend emergency responsibilities.
