Key Responsibilities:
- Service, troubleshoot, and maintain large commercial air-cooled and/or water-cooled chiller systems and related mechanical equipment with little to no supervision
- Leverage and apply cooling principles, practices, and theories such as: refrigerant cycles, heat transfer laws, test and balance, and fluid hydronics
- Operate aerial man lifts, refrigerant recovery equipment, overhead cranes, hoists, power tools, electrical testing instruments, and other equipment used in the industrial HVACR/chiller trade
- Read and interpret mechanical, piping and electrical drawings, blueprints and diagrams.
- Responsible for conducting regular inspections and properly completing all required project and service documentation.
- Ensure that all safety measures are taken at all times.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands on commercial HVACR industry experience specifically working on air-cooled and/or water-cooled chillers in a large building construction start-up, project or service environment
- Technical proficiency in troubleshooting, maintenance (heat exchanger clean out, brushing tubes, changing oil) and rebuilding of large tonnage commercial chillers
- Extensive knowledge of various types of chillers, boilers, cooling towers, heat exchangers, and associated equipment such as pumps, motors, valves, etc
- Universal EPA refrigerants license
- Perform other duties as needed, including general maintenance, cleaning, lifting
- Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Products
- Maintain a professional appearance
- Willing to work overtime as needed
- Pass national criminal background check
- Current driver’s license with clean driving record
- High School Diploma or GED
Additional qualifications that would be beneficial in this role include:
- HVAC Trade School Program/Certification or any other applicable state or local license/certification

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
