We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Handyman/Home Installation Person with electrical, carpentry, and general home maintenance skills to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing installations, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of mobility equipment in our customers' homes. Your primary focus will be to ensure that our customers' mobility devices are installed correctly and functioning properly, allowing them to live independently and comfortably.
Responsibilities:
- Install and repair wheelchair lifts, ramps, ceiling lifts, and other adaptive equipment in customers' homes.
- Perform electrical installations and troubleshooting, including wiring and connections.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on mobility devices to ensure proper functioning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or concerns raised by customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with customers throughout the installation or repair process.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and submit necessary documentation in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing job duties.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in mobility equipment and electrical systems.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in home installations or handyman work, with a strong emphasis on electrical systems.
- Knowledge of home mobility equipment and adaptive devices is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Strong electrical skills, including wiring, connections, and troubleshooting.
- Strong mechanical and technical skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering outstanding service.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and tools as needed.
