Summary/Objective of Overall Role:
The Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all products and services meet the established standards of quality, including reliability, usability, and performance. The QA Specialist will develop and implement quality control processes, conduct tests and inspections, analyze data, and ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Essential Functions:
Develop and Implement QA Processes:
- Recommend designs and implement quality control processes and procedures.
- Recommend test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Recommend standards and procedures for product and service quality, including regarding kitchen exhaust cleaning, evaporator coil cleaning, and FOG services.
Conduct Tests and Inspections:
- Perform regular inspections and tests on products and services.
- Identify defects and areas and provide recommendations for improvement in areas including KEC and EVAP services.
- Utilize various testing tools and methodologies to ensure product quality.
Analyze Data and Report Findings:
- Collect and analyze data from tests and inspections.
- Generate reports on quality metrics and present findings to management.
- Provide recommendations for improvement based on data analysis.
Ensure Compliance:
- Ensure products and services comply with regulatory standards and customer requirements.
- Stay updated on industry standards and regulations.
- Implement changes to processes as necessary to maintain compliance.
- Complete training on all tools and equipment including safety/rules on proper use of all tools and equipment, safety procedures and standards of the company.
- Comply with all Company policies as set forth in the Employee Handbook, including but not limited to the Company’s EEO and Anti-Harassment policies, Drug & Alcohol policy, Workplace Violence Policy and Prohibition Against Weapons policy, Guidelines for Appropriate Conduct policy, and Attendance policy.
Collaborate with Other Departments:
- Work closely with production, engineering, and customer service teams to ensure quality standards are met.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on quality control processes and standards.
- Facilitate communication between different teams to address quality issues.
Problem-Solving:
- Identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Continuously improve quality processes and systems.
- Use problem-solving techniques to resolve quality-related challenges.

o High School Diploma or GED
o 1-year of customer service experience
o Knowledge regarding HVAC and kitchen exhaust systems (considered highly competitive)
o Computer skills and knowledge of office software packages
