Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes
- Perform electrical troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems
- Install and maintain lighting fixtures, switches, outlets, and circuit breakers
- Test electrical systems using various tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment
Qualifications:
- Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician license or equivalent certification
- Proven experience as an electrician in various settings such as residential, commercial, or industrial
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage applications
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their programming
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve electrical issues
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
