Pay Range: $28 - $36 per hour

POSITION SUMMARY
As a technician your client will be the operations team, they will provide you with work orders and their priorities. It will be the role of the service technician to communicate with the operations team, to provide advice on priorities and highlight areas of concern, clearly inform the operations team when their work requests will be completed, the cost of repairs and provide a log of diagnostics and repair activity.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Executes Preventive Maintenance program effectively
- Assists management with Health Department compliance requests
- Reports equipment abuse or misuse to Management
- Responds to Class 1 emergencies in a timely manner
- Performs routine maintenance on building, equipment, and grounds
- Ensures invoices are reported to the A/P department in a timely manner
- Keeps abreast of technological changes which affect the maintenance program
- Assists Operations with product implementations which require facility upgrades
- Plans schedule according to company guidelines
- Assists the Director of Facilities in taking advantage of product pricing strategies, warranties, and discounts
- Utilizes Corrigo to track repair requests, update assets, log time and activity
- Follows Company safety and security procedures
- Maintains a driving record that reflects a commitment to safe driving practices
- Maintains proper storage and security of Company equipment and tools
- Maintains company vehicle in the manner outlined by company guidelines
- Maintains parts inventory as required to plan for long lead items and be able to react to critical repairs in a timely manner
- Monitor and evaluate the work of third parties, keeping an accurate record of work performed to critically review and approve invoices
- Assist with remodels, producing work scopes, taking measurements, coordinating and supervising third party contractors and ordering materials

- Position is expected to work 45 hours per week
- If necessary, night work at times, when restaurant is not in operation
- Company will provide tools needed for position
Essential Skills and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Five years’ experience in maintenance related field
- CFC License
- Mechanically inclined
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, gas operated equipment, electrical systems, refrigeration and a variety of cooking equipment
- Ability to work independently
- Basic knowledge of carpentry and building cosmetics
- Ability to troubleshoot problem equipment
- Ability to manage conflicting time constraints
- Commitment to company values
- IT skills to manage calendar, email, and work order management software
- Managing vendors
Nonessential Skills and Experience:
- BA in Maintenance related field
- Journeyman's license
- OSHA 10

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use a variety of tools, travel to various locations, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, communicate via telephone, reach with hands and arms, climb a ladder, work near moving mechanical parts, work in tight spaces, work above head or below feet, and be exposed to hot and cold conditions. The employee must occasionally move or lift up to 40 pounds.
Work environment:
While performing the duties of this job, an employee will be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The position requires working outside on a frequent basis in all weather conditions.
