Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Plumbing and HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various HVAC systems and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Duties:
- Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance on HVAC systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, boilers, and ammonia refrigeration systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems to identify root causes
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure systems are operating efficiently and safely
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to guide repair and maintenance activities
- Weld and braze components when necessary for repairs
- Drive company van to service locations
Requirements:
- Proven experience in HVAC repair, maintenance, and installation
- Proficiency in appliance repair, air conditioning systems, HVAC/R technologies, and refrigeration
- Ability to work with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus
- Familiarity with reading schematics and technical drawings
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for van driving duties

Expected hours: 40 per week

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
