The Aggieland Boutique Hotel is on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced General Manager to spearhead our property's strategic direction. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all operational facets, ensuring exceptional guest and employee satisfaction, efficient human resources management, strong financial performance, successful sales strategies, and revenue generation. Your focus will be on delivering a favorable return on investment to ownership. Beyond this, we seek an individual dedicated to fostering a culture of excellence and accountability, driving brand service strategies, nurturing team development, and actively engaging with the local community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of brand service strategies and initiatives to surpass guest expectations, enhance profitability, and gain market share.
- Hold the property team accountable for the successful implementation of key strategies.
- Mentor and facilitate the professional growth of the property's leadership team and all team members.
- Ensure the effective utilization of Operations and Sales tools.
- Cultivate owner loyalty through proactive communication, expectation management, and delivering robust business outcomes.
- Actively engage in the local community to forge strong relationships with local officials, businesses, and customers.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of hotel management experience or equivalent education and experience.
- Proficiency in managing Full-Service hotels.
- Preferred experience with IHG properties.
- Current certification from Marriott or IHG is preferred.
- Strong desire to advance within the company.
- Willingness to travel, if necessary.
- Demonstrated hotel sales experience.
- Solid financial acumen, including experience with budget management, P&L analysis, and cost control.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional guest service, as evidenced by high guest satisfaction ratings.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English, with excellent grammar and communication skills.
