Job Summary:
By working closely with the HVAC Manager the HVAC Service Technician will complete jobs on time and under budget.
HVAC Service Tech Duties/Responsibilities:
- Works alongside customer service and dispatch to ensure overall success of the business
- Adheres to the company’s plan for resolving customer complaints quickly and favorably
- Maintains a clean, organized job site and well-inventoried truck
- Participates actively in all training exercises, morning meetings, and technical vendor training
- Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines
- Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts while reinstalling as necessary
- Oils and lubricates moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance
- Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts
- Orders and installs replacement parts for machines
- Identifies the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines
- Repairs broken machines quickly and efficiently Prepare reports documenting work performed
- Cleans, organizes, inventories, stocks, and otherwise maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies
HVAC Service Tech Required Skills/Abilities:
- Develop proven track record in heating and cooling systems including the ability to draw simple diagrams and read blueprints and other diagrams
- Clean, safe driving record
- Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication
- High integrity with advanced social skills and ability to make solid connections
- Competitive individual contributor who also loves to win as a team
- Knowledge of how to establish customer rapport to ensure highest levels of satisfaction
Education and Experience:
- EPA certification with knowledge of applicable installation and venting codes
- ServiceTitan experience preferred
- Four to five years of HVAC experience preferred
- Residential HVCAC experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs at a time

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
