Typical Work Hours:

Typical hours 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, additional hours as necessary.

Main Job Responsibilities

Troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing assigned jobs.
Work safely on 120/240V, 120/208V and 480/277V electrical systems.
Work safely on ladders, scissor lifts and bucket trucks.
Wire and connect standard electrical equipment.
Ability to effectively communicate and document all services performed.
Ability to perform small estimates up to $5,000 and maintain accounts.
Must be willing to travel and stay overnight 40% of the time.
Ability to provide outstanding Customer Service and maintain good working relationships with customers.

Knowledge and Skill Requirement

Proficient in most areas of Electrical service and willingness to learn and implement all Total Comfort Electric's processes.
3+ years of Commercial Electrical service experience.
Very self-sufficient requiring minimal supervision.
Strong technical aptitude. Ability to read blueprints and well versed in National Electrical Code.
Understands and efficiently uses basic computer hardware, software, and smart phone.
Ability to adhere to company attendance policy and work additional hours as needed.

Additional Skills Desired:

Qualified Journeyman's License (this may be a requirement depending on the location)
Control wiring Experience
Voice/Data/Video Experience
Mechanical/Generator Experience
Fire Alarm Experience
HVAC/R Experience
EMS systems and wiring experience.
VDF/PLC Experience

License/Certification:

Electrical License (Preferred)

Working Conditions

Must be able to work in all types of climates including extreme hot and cold temperatures. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work. This position will require telephone availability, and be a part of and on-call rotation for emergencies.

Salary: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour
