Journeyperson Plumber
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. As a Journeyperson Plumber, you will play a crucial role in assembling, installing, and maintaining plumbing systems in various settings. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of construction projects and the efficient operation of plumbing systems.
Duties:
- Utilize carpentry skills to assist in plumbing installations
- Read and interpret schematics to plan plumbing layouts
- Assemble and install piping systems according to blueprints
- Maintain and repair plumbing systems as needed
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot plumbing issues
- Perform pipe threading and cutting accurately
- Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber or similar role
- Proficiency in plumbing, and maintenance person tasks
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work
- Knowledge of pipe threading techniques
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and repairs
- Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety measures
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in general construction tasks
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
