Reconstruction Division Manager
Central Indiana's trusted leader in restoration and clean-up is seeking a Reconstruction Division Manager. Are you good managing budgets, KPIs, departments and sub-contractors with a can do attitude and proven experience in construction management? What you will do:
- Oversee the Reconstruction and Board-up departments at all locations within the portfolio
- Manage the reconstruction and Board-up departments and all related personnel to the standards of the company
- Ensure that the reconstruction department remains profitable, and hits target financial goals
- Maintain KPIs and standards for the departments and locations to ensure processes and procedures are in place to make the team successful
- Develop new KPIs and standards for the Reconstruction and Board-up teams as deemed necessary to keep the team successful
- Maintain job completion metrics for both gross profit and for speed to completion
- Review current processes and make recommendations and changes to improve division performance
- Ensure Board-up conversion rates are established and maintained for each location
- Ability to utilize data to make informed decisions for the department and portfolio reconstruction divisions
- Develop goals for each location and department that are challenging and forward the success of the departments
- Ensure all locations are able to hit required financial obligations each month
- Ability to work with the finance team to develop annual budgets that both push the team and are achievable
- Maintain a large subcontractor base for the Reconstruction department at all locations to make sure we can schedule subcontractors to our work and not vice versa
- Be able to ensure that the data from reconstruction is clean and updated for accurate decision making
- Ability to work across multiple departments to help move decisions and keep projects moving along
- Provide assistance to the teams with any escalated issues
- Ability to manage both employees at home location and those located at other locations
- Hire and develop new employees so that they integrate successfully into the department
- Be able to provide constructive feedback to the team and get buy in on process and procedure changes
- Provide personnel feedback/review/discipline for each employee to pursue improvement in the department
- Seek out and train those internally who may be a fit for management, promotion, reassignment
