HVAC Technician
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in residential and commercial settings. Responsibilities:
- Install and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, boilers, and more
- Conduct routine maintenance to ensure efficient operation of HVAC equipment
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues and perform necessary repairs
- Use tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and ammonia refrigeration equipment for specific tasks
- Collaborate with team members on equipment repair projects
- Adhere to property maintenance standards while working on HVAC systems
Requirements:
- Proven experience in HVAC/R systems installation, maintenance, and repair
- Strong understanding of air conditioning principles and mechanisms
- Proficiency in equipment repair techniques related to HVAC systems
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to work as a mechanic when needed
- Familiarity with boilers and property maintenance practices
- Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration is a plus
- Certification in HVAC technology or relevant field is preferred
