Prefer Candidate who lives in the central Philadelphia market - will be stationed in Boothwyn PA with regular travel in the Region.
Multi-Site Regional HVAC Management (Residential Service) experience desired.
Will manage several LEN THE PLUMBER HEATING & AIR Branch locations, as well as other brands in our MTG network ( NEFFSVILLE PH&A and RUSSO BROS PH&A )
Job Summary/Objective:
The HVAC Regional Manager is a leadership position responsible for the performance and growth of the HVAC business. The position has responsibility for the development and implementation of the HVAC business plan with full P&L accountability for a multi-million-dollar residential consumer services operation. This position provides leadership to all regional personnel, develops plans to achieve revenue and profitability objectives, and is responsible to create a customer centric and solutions-oriented culture. The HVAC Regional Manager will lead all aspects of the business; service, sales, dispatch and production, as well as providing strategic direction to achieve targeted short-term and long-term business objectives.
Reports To: President, HVAC
Supervises: HVAC Branch Managers, Sales Managers, Dispatch Managers, Support Staff
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a strong regional business plan to include all operational aspects for the region: staffing, organizational development, profitability targets, operational workflows and growth plans.
Achieve budgeted objectives; increase revenue, gross profit and earnings through the implementation of operational excellence, metrics and KPI tracking, productivity performance and service/sales system excellence.
Direct oversight, management, and accountability of the HVAC P&L for the region.
Lead and manage all aspects of HVAC for the region: service, sales, dispatch, production and support.
Recruit, develop, retain and fully mobilize top HVAC talent to successfully and consistently support the company’s KPI and performance-driven business model.
Lead employee engagement by fully participating in the implementation of incentives, promotions, contests, awards, recognition, and other important performance-driven programs to celebrate wins while driving the message of a high-performing environment with high levels of visibility and recognition.
Lead regionally centralized dispatching activities that serve the need of the branch and customer.
Drive the region to consistently deliver on our brand promises and an excellent customer service experience at every touch point.
Develop an ongoing communication cadence with staff to address business objectives while utilizing these forums to build a culture of teamwork, accountability, results, and customer satisfaction.
Organizational development: partner with the training and academy team to execute ongoing programs to include apprentice development, continuing technical education for field personnel, in-field coaching, and safety/OSHA compliance.
Participate in HVAC business unit and regional review meetings to report on business performance, progress towards key initiatives, and best practice sharing.
Ensure proper input and oversight on areas such as fleet management, warehouse/logistics, facilities oversight, and other areas associated with the physical branch locations.
Establish and maintain relationships with regional industry influencers and key strategic partners.
Implement best in class HVAC best practices, policies, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance and consistency of work across all branches and customer locations.
Qualifications/Abilities:
At least ten plus (10+) years of business unit and/or regional management experience with a proven track record of successfully building or leading an organization, preferably in the HVAC industry.
Proven track record of high growth and business development experience, financially and/or geographically. Preferably in the HVAC industry.
Ability to manage, motivate, and mobilize an organization to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
Experience in setting up a strong organization: establishing a foundation for full operational scalability.
Demonstrate high levels of cross functional collaboration.
Ability to multitask from high level strategy to hands on tactical operations.
Sales leadership experience required, preferably in the HVAC industry.
Outstanding leadership and communication skills at all levels of the organization.
Excellent business acumen: developing, communicating, and carrying out a business plan.
Strong analytical skills: review, interpret, draw conclusions, and formulate actions based on KPI’s and other data.
Excellent personal organizational, follow-through and communication skills (oral and written).
Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
Ability to provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
Other Job Functions:
Maintain compliance with local, state and federal regulations (understand and abide by compliance requirements for operations).
Ensure safety best practices are followed.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
Work is generally performed in an office environment.
Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
Ability to travel to locations, to training sessions and/or meetings, car or air travel.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration highly preferred.
10+ years of experience in the consumer service industry in a managerial role, with a proven track record of P&L accountability, training/development success, sales/operations and customer Service. Preferably in the HVAC industry.
Sales and/or sales management experience required, preferably in the HVAC industry.
Microsoft Office suite of applications required. Ability to run reports and use Excel to export data and create spreadsheets. Ability to create Power Point presentations.
