Social Media & Marketing Manager Job Description
Position: Part-time, contract, non-exempt 10-15 hours per week
Compensation: competitive based on experience

We are seeking a savvy digital marketing professional to join our team and contribute to executing our vision to be a sought-after destination in Austin’s health and wellness space. Responsibilities for Social Media Manager
- Strategize, plan and execute a marketing plan for Generator’s social media, newsletter and website that generates brand growth and helps achieve stated monthly sales targets for the company
- Generate Leads and Sales
- Execute the planned marketing calendar through posts and reshares across all relevant platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and/or YouTube
- Create and implement campaign strategies monthly including prospective member promotions and giveaways
- Engage with Generator’s community across all social media platforms and ensure a positive customer service experience
- Stay up-to-date with current social media trends and best practices and apply them to Generator’s strategies
- Capture content regularly by coordinating with staff and members to take quality photos and videos.
- Ensure brand consistency in copy and creative through tone, voice, pictures, graphics, video, and terminology
- Create actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers across all relevant social media platforms and to facilitate scaling brand and company awareness
- Utilize Canva (or similar platform) to create visual assets such as flyers, emails, and designed social media posts
- Create actionable plans to both grow and maintain engagement and SEO through our blog/website and newsletter.
- Ensure progress on all platforms by using analytical tools to track and measure progress
- Create and nurture relationships within the business community
- Special projects that grow the brand through marketing as needed such as community events, and business development
Qualifications for Social Media& Marketing Manager
- 3+ years of professional social media management experience
- Proficiency with Canva or adobe suite
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Proven ability to achieve desired results through social media including proven statistics on follower growth and engagement
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, journalism, public relations or related field
- Strong computer skills using social media, Squarespace, MBO, Google Docs, Canva, etc.
- General knowledge of recording and editing video
- Relevant experience determining a target audience and how to cater unique marketing campaigns to capture their attention
- Strong understanding of marketing strategy and how to effortlessly utilize these concepts throughout various forms of outreach
- Ability to collaborate with a diverse group of employees and simultaneously work toward many company initiatives at once
- Ability to attend weekly meetings in person and to capture content on-location weekly
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,500.00 per month
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
