The HVAC Sales Manager is responsible for leading and motivating a sales team to achieve revenue goals and exceed customer expectations. This role requires a combination of strong leadership, sales acumen, and in-depth knowledge of the HVAC industry. The successful candidate will develop and implement sales strategies, build customer relationships, and drive overall sales growth.
- Sales Leadership:
- Develop and execute sales plans and strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Hire, train, and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to sales representatives.
- Conduct regular sales meetings and performance reviews.
- Business Development:
- Identify new opportunities and expand market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key industry stakeholders.
- Develop and implement effective sales processes and tools.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis.
- Financial Performance:
- Prepare and analyze sales reports and forecasts.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage sales budgets and expenses.
- Customer Satisfaction:
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing customer concerns and resolving issues promptly.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Gather customer feedback and implement improvements.
- Product Knowledge:
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of HVAC products and services.
- Provide product training to sales team.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technologies.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC sales, with at least 2 years in a management role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales goals and exceeding quotas.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
- Experience in residential and commercial HVAC sales.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment.
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
