HVAC Installer (Residential Retrofit, Lite-Commercial)
Ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of related experience installing HVAC equipment the bulk of which would be in residential retrofit. Any certifications will be considered.
- Basic Safety knowledge of tools, testing devices and surroundings.
- Complete installation of branch runs
- Basic knowledge and ability to run main trunk lines
- Proficient in installing round and rectangular duct
- Able to measure ductwork and install all equipment accessories
- Basic understanding of more complex sheet metal fittings
- Can complete production homes unsupervised and on budget
- Can complete simple low voltage connections on furnaces, air handlers and air conditioners
- Must be able to communicate well with supervisors, builders and other trades
- Maintain builder and sub contractors relations
- Ability to complete all necessary paperwork
- Able to complete and follow through on change orders
- Braze line sets
- Pressurize and leak test line sets
- Able to work with minimal supervision and supervise others
- Able to install and terminate exhaust fans
Customer service skills are a must.
Must be on time/ reliable and be available to work overtime when needed.
Must be able to perform duties in uncomfortable climates and spaces such as: attics, crawl spaces, roof tops, and tight areas for long periods of time. Must meet physical demands of position, for example: lifting equipment, crawl space manuever-able, and use of ladders, etc.
Valid driver's license, must show proof of driving record, and pass a background and drug test. Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
