Reporting to the Director of Marketing, Humanaut's Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to increase online presence and cultivating engaging content that brings to life our brand values.
This is a unique opportunity for a passionate Social Media Manager who is ready to dive in and have a significant impact on Humanaut's go-to-market strategy in 2024. As we expand nationally in 2025 through both corporate-owned and franchise locations, you will play a crucial role in scaling our social media function and growing with the company. This role is based in New York, New York or Austin, Texas.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and manage the brand's social media strategy.
- Ensure all content is accurate, compliant with healthcare regulations and provides value to the brands audience.
- Actively engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
- Foster relationships with followers, influencers, and other key stakeholders to build brand engagement and loyalty.
- Leverage social media analytics tools to track performance metrics (engagement, reach, impressions, and follower count growth).
- Analyze data to understand effectiveness of evergreen and or campaign content to make informed decisions to optimize future strategies.
- Stay well informed of the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to maintain competitive advantage.
- Collaborate with the marketing, PR, Product, and Medical team to ensure cohesive message and brand consistency across channels.
- Protect brand of social media crisis and develop a communication plan as needed.
- Partner with the Marketing Director on budgeting needs for social media targeting and performance.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends, best practices, technologies, and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of proven experience managing social media platforms for healthcare or wellness-related industries.
- Track record of developing and executing social media campaigns that drive engagement and top-of-funnel growth.
- Proficient in social media analytics tools to measure performance and inform strategies.
- Self-starter with the ability to generate results from internal and external teams.
- Proficient in social media management tools like Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of SEO principles and their integration within overall marketing strategy.
- Strong writing and communication skills to create compelling and accurate content that resonates with the audience.
- Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva for content creation.
- Ability to develop in-app/platform multimedia content, including videos and dynamic assets, that adhere to brand guidelines and enhance engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to test and learn from marketing initiatives for maximum impact.
- Well-versed in healthcare topics, regulations, and able to communicate complex medical information commercially.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and multitask under accelerated timelines.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous situations and adapting to changing priorities.
Compensation & Benefits
A candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Salaries are based on market benchmarks. Pay may vary based on your location. These ranges may be modified in the future. Eligibility for benefits is subject to benefit plan rules and benefit offerings may be changed at any time.
- Salary: $90,000-$110,000 USD annually based on candidate geography and experience
- Bonus: up to 10% based on 2024 team OKR (member acquisition)
