Our Certified Chimney and Fireplace Service and Sales Technician must be a motivated self-starter who will take ownership in this position; get things done and solve problems. First year wages can reach $85,000. After training hourly pay period is over, position is paid based on an incentive pay structure that is beneficial to those who are hard-working, efficient and take pride in their work. Previous experience and CSIA Certification is required.
This position is full-time Monday- Friday (no weekends), typically starting at 6:30-7am every morning during our busy season and flexibility is required. The length of each day will vary depending on how long each job takes.
You will be doing chimney sweeps and inspections as well as gas fireplace service in new construction for fireplace start-ups, as well as service inside and outside of customers’ homes and businesses. This is a year-round job with very little slow time. We provide a company service vehicle.

Specific Responsibilities:
- Clean, diagnose & inspect gas fireplaces with our company process and checklist.
- Sweep & inspect chimneys and provide inspection report and quotes recommend.
- Communicate needed repairs and recommended maintenance to the homeowner or client, including creating reports for customer with recommendations and pricing options for new fireplaces, gas logs and chimney repair work
- Repair or replace necessary defective parts in accordance with company practices and manufacturer's recommendations.
- Install finish parts on new fireplaces and facilitate the homeowner training orientation and startup of fireplaces.
Minimum Abilities and Experience:
- CSIA Certification and at least one year of mechanical repair or maintenance experience .
- Customer Service and Sales Experience
- Familiarity with computers and applications.
- Organized with strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- Ability to listen skillfully, collect relevant information, plan and implement a plan, build rapport and respond to customers, colleagues and management in a timely and accurate manner.
- Patient, personable, professional and ethical with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive and flexible team attitude.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or higher.
- Good driving record and drug free.
- Willing to pass a background check.
- Strong sense of professionalism, honesty, and discretion.
