A well-respected senior living company is seeking a Maintenance Director in Carrollton, TX or surrounding areas. The main responsibilities are to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Maintenance Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility. The Maintenance Director will also ensure the facility maintains a clean and orderly condition. Oversee the maintenance of building, grounds, housekeeping, and laundry functions.
Major responsibilities include:
- Ensure safety & security of residents, employees, and the local environment.
- Maintain a clean, orderly environment free from potential hazards in accordance with Fire/Life Safety Codes and State and Federal laws and regulations.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repair of facility equipment; life safety audits.
- Follow established facility policies and procedures.
- Oversee operations of housekeeping and laundry departments.
- Complete daily inspections and make corrections that do not meet regulation standards.
- Performs all HAVC repair to include changing out systems.
- Maintains scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generator, landscape, kitchen equipment, and emergency pull cord equipment.
- Ensure vendor transactions and outside services are properly completed and/or supervised in accordance with contract.
- Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must have, as a minimum, two year(s) experience in a supervisory capacity, in a maintenance related position in Senior Living.
- Must be knowledgeable in building codes and safety regulations.
- Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education or its equivalent.
- HVAC Certification (preferred).
