Dream Water is currently sold through industry-leading grocery, convenience, drug & mass retailers in North America and Internationally. Including Walmart, Circle K, Shoppers Drug Mart, Publix, Casey’s, Mapco, Terrible Herbst, Ingles, and many more.
We are seeking a self-starter, highly motivated, and results-driven individual to join our team as a Customer Development Manager to grow our Dream Water Sleep Aid Brand in the Convenience Channel and drive strategy and revenue generation.
About the role:
·As a Customer Development Manager, you will play a critical role in helping to drive retail sales and strategy across the convenience channel. You are an entrepreneur at heart, eager to learn, adapt, and excited to help Dream Water Sleep Aid achieve its growth potential You will be responsible for managing and growing our convenience channel within Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. You will play a crucial role in generating new business, maximizing sales opportunities, and achieving revenue targets.
Core Responsibilities:
·Developing customer relationships within the assigned retailers in the south and southwest to penetrate buying teams within each assigned retailer for a long-term collaborative relationship with Dream Water.
·Actively seek new customer accounts and new distribution opportunities
·Be responsible for all aspects of the business in brokers and distributors through meetings and clear communication.
·Deliver effective sales presentations to key customers and brokers by turning data into insights to drive distribution, promotional effectiveness, and overall profitable sales growth.
·Leading the development of the annual budget and trade spend strategy for assigned retailers.
·Proactively identifying gaps or opportunities periodically and reporting any risk or upside to the Head of Sales, US with specific action plans to address.
·Managing monthly, quarterly, and bi-annual meetings with each assigned retail buying team and broker to review the state of the business, present new items, conduct line reviews, and customize. promotional calendars for each account.
·Develop an annual promotional calendar with each retailer for ongoing items.
·Execute the sales strategy at the retailer level to ensure the attainment of company sales goals and objectives.
·Providing excellent merchandising and category recommendations to support sales growth.
·Assisting in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
·Assisting the Operations Team in the resolution of issues and complaints to facilitate the continuation of re-orders for the Company’s products.
·Attend trade shows as needed.
Managing trade spend and forecasting:
·Maintaining annual sales volumes monthly, adhering to required progress reports.
·Managing trade spend and following up with brokers to hold them accountable.
·Authorizing and closing off trade spend invoices.

·Respectfully and capably representing the best interests of Dream Water in all internal and external dealings.
·Requiring professionalism with customers
·Maintaining contact with all buying team levels within the assigned retailer to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
Education
·Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related discipline preferred (Business, Sales, or Marketing), or other job-related or equivalent business experience.
Qualifications
·At least 2 to 5 years of CPG experience in account sales with convenience store retailers
·The ideal candidate will be in or near Dallas, TX, or Houston, TX
·Current relationships a plus
·Proven track record in the C-store and grocery retail environment.
·Experience managing a broker network.
·Experience managing (Core-Mark, McLane, Lil Drug, HT Hackney, etc.)
·Thorough knowledge and ongoing awareness of current sales and business development concepts and practices.
·Self-motivated and eager to learn.
·Demonstrated ability to work with key software such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
·Ability to effectively communicate openly and directly, and convey information clearly and concisely, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
·Must be self-driven, results-oriented, and able to drive sales while working independently.
·Valid driver’s license and vehicle.
