The ideal candidate will have expertise in refrigeration, air conditioning, and mechanical systems. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
Duties:
- Install HVAC systems following specifications and blueprints
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems
- Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring
- Test electrical circuits and components using testing devices such as ohmmeters
- Welding and soldering as needed for installations
- Drive company van to job sites
Skills:
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems
- Experience with property maintenance and appliance repair
- Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration is a plus
- Ability to operate as a van driver for transportation to job sites
