**Job Summary:**
Precision Air HVAC is seeking a motivated HVAC Helper who wants to quickly learn and advance in the HVAC field. As an HVAC Helper, you will support the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and light commercial settings, with a path to become a lead installer.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist in installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, thermostats, and related components.
- Measure, cut, and fabricate ductwork and other materials for proper fitting and installation.
- Connect HVAC components, including refrigerant lines, electrical wiring, and ventilation systems, ensuring proper sealing, insulation, and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Test and verify the functionality and performance of installed systems, making necessary adjustments or repairs as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate installation schedules, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
- Adhere to company policies, safety guidelines, and industry regulations to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
**Qualifications:**
- Some experience as an HVAC helper or related role.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC installation procedures and practices.
- Familiarity with a variety of HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions.
