Summary
As an HVAC Apprentice/Helper, you will support experienced technicians in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Your core skills in refrigeration and HVAC will be essential in assisting with system troubleshooting and repairs. With premium skills in construction, service technician experience, and familiarity with schematics, you will contribute to project efficiency and quality. Your relevant skills in mechanical knowledge, field service, and equipment repair will enhance your ability to handle various tasks effectively. A valid driver's license and experience as a van driver will enable you to travel to different job sites and assist in delivering exceptional HVAC services.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and refrigeration
- Experience in construction and field service
- Proficiency in equipment repair and maintenance
- Familiarity with schematics and HVAC design principles
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive a van
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience as a service technician or in appliance repair is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems under the guidance of experienced technicians.
- Utilize schematics to understand system layouts and components.
- Conduct routine inspections and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Provide support in the construction of HVAC systems and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Drive to job sites and assist in field service tasks as required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
