We are looking for an experience Maintenance Technician who is ready for the next step in their career! As the Group Leader you will be the additional support to diagnose problems, assist the other Maintenance Technicians as needed, and special projects around our beautiful campus.

Summary
Across our campus at Hoosier Village, the Maintenance Group Leader performs a variety of unskilled, semi-skilled, and skilled tasks related to the maintenance and repair of the buildings, grounds, and related equipment. The Maintenance Group Leader also assists with higher skilled repairs, supervising and training staff, and special projects around campus as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with maintaining building, and immediately responding to building emergencies.
- Track work being performed Maintenance staff.
- Assist in the training and overall supervision of Maintenance staff.
- Update department management on building operations status and recurring problems that may require additional action.
- Review, provide recommendations, and initiate incoming work orders.
- Review and prioritize new work orders, review completed work order tasks, and finish out completed work orders.
- Operate as primary contact for managers.
- Procurement of repair parts for daily operations and utilities
- May be included in the 24/7 emergency call back rotation.
- Weekly and Monthly emergency generator testing.
- Direct a preventive maintenance program for all buildings.
- Maintenance of existing HVAC systems: Repair, replace, adjust, and calibrate (under the direction of the Maintenance & Operations Supervisor or HVAC Specialist) electronic, electric, digital, and for HVAC fans, pressure vessels, and hot water heating, pumps, and domestic water systems.
- Order and maintain adequate supplies for the preventive maintenance program.
- Perform fire drills, document, and properly train staff.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with the operation of maintenance related tools and equipment.
- Possession of good customer service skills.
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC controls and control systems.
- Strong working knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures
