Are you an experienced plumber looking to advance your career? We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Plumber to join our team and contribute to the installation of plumbing systems for large-scale commercial and industrial projects across various sectors including healthcare, government, education, manufacturing, and data centers.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Journeyman Plumber, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting commercial plumbing installations from underground/rough-ins to trim outs.
- Interpreting blueprints to determine the optimal placement of plumbing systems.
- Measuring, marking dimensions, and laying out materials accurately.
- Utilizing various techniques such as soldering, brazing, and gluing for different types of pipes.
- Installing hanger assemblies for piping to ensure stability and durability.
- Maximizing efficiency while fabricating and installing plumbing systems.
- Adhering to specifications and building codes to ensure compliance and safety.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 2 years of commercial plumbing experience.
- Current and valid applicable plumbing license in Texas (e.g., Journeyman License, Apprentice License, Master License, Med Gas).
- Experience leading or coaching apprentices and helpers is desirable.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs comfortably.
- Willingness to undergo background checks, drug screenings, and physical ability tests.
Preferred Qualifications:
- OSHA 10-hour or OSHA 30 certification.
- Medical Gas Certification endorsement or willingness to obtain.
- Plumbing Apprentice License or Journeyman Plumbing License.
