The Project Manager is responsible to oversee multiple refrigeration projects; overseeing the system installation from project conception to final completion. The PM will be responsible to know and fully understand each project they are assigned while providing any and all required information and direction to the Project Superintendent, Project Foreman and field crew to complete the projects installation as required by the associated contract documents. Other duties are outlined below.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for project start-ups, including detailed estimate review, and facilitation of purchasing procurement, subcontracts, submittals and project schedules.
- Know all aspects of the Project(s) responsibilities. Attend project meetings prepared to represent E2 Mechanical & Industrial Refrigeration with up to date and accurate information. Provide the Working Superintendent and field crews any and all information and materials required to install and complete the project economically, completely and as required by the contract documents.
- Work in conjunction with the Field Superintendent to maintain the required material flow and manpower to maintain the project schedule and field conditions to maintain a high level of moral and cooperation.
- Manage, coordinate, and control all construction field activities to complete the projects within the specifications, budget, and schedule. Always act in the best interests of E2 Mechanical & Industrial Refrigeration.
- Collaborate with the trades, subcontractors and outside service providers to prepare a field construction schedule that optimizes productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor progress of the work and be able provide regular schedule updates to the required parties.
- Foresee and take action to prevent schedule delays and cost overruns.
- Work in concert with the outside service providers to encourage peak performance.
- Maintain a working knowledge of refrigeration and construction standards plus regulatory requirements for construction and safety. Enforce adherence in the field.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, customers’ reps, and the Engineer to resolve all technical issues in the field.
- Be fully knowledgeable of the scope of the contracts and specifications and ensure all work meets those requirements.
- Coordinate inspections and closeout of project phases.
- Manage mobilization and demobilization of projects.
- Promptly submit the required documentation to protect the company and the customer. Provide timely and complete field information to the Engineer and the customers’ representatives.
- Notify the Engineer when additional work outside the scope of the contracts is identified in the field. Provide the field support needed to compile change orders.
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, company policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of (5) five years direct project management experience in the Refrigeration Construction Industry. Ammonia experience is a plus.
- Proficient in computers, Project Management software and related financial accounting.
- Knowledge of typical project management procedures, paperwork and reporting.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to travel - Travel will vary on project assignment.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
