Hunter-Davisson, Inc. is a commercial HVAC-R Design Build Mechanical Contractor seeking a Journeyman Sheet Metal Installer to join our growing team. The person we are seeking is a team player who is highly organized, detail oriented, and demonstrates outstanding customer service.

Fabricates, assembles, installs, and repairs sheet metal equipment distribution systems and products.
- Interpret specifications, blueprints and material schedules as needed to complete sheet metal installations.
- Installs assemblies in building or work-site.
- Interprets company policies and adheres safety regulations.
- Studies schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for completion of job.
- Analyzes and resolves work problems.
- Maintains time records.
- Work within precise limits and standards of accuracy; perform a variety of duties which may change often and rate information using measurable standards.
- Plan, lay-out, fabricate, assemble, install and repair sheet metal parts, products and equipment utilizing hand-tools, power tools, machines and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or products specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabrication, assembling and installing sheet metal products.
- Select gauge and type of sheet metal such as galvanized iron, copper, steel, aluminum, etc., or non- metallic materials such as plastic and fiberglass according to product specifications and per SMACNA standards.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication, organization and technical skills.
- Related experience a plus, but not required.
- Must be able to: Stand or walk for long periods of time during a regular work day.
- Use arms and hands to reach for, handle and manipulate objects.
- Lift and carry materials weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
- Climb up and down ladders, scaffolds and other climbing devices.
- Carry tools and equipment.
- Work while in stooped, kneeling, crouched and crawling positions.
- Be able to see naturally with or without correction, to safely perform designated tasks.
