**Duties**
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure proper functioning
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues and make necessary repairs
- Test HVAC systems for proper operation and efficiency
- Install and connect HVAC components, such as compressors, motors, and ducts
- Follow blueprints and design specifications to ensure accurate installation
- Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to complete projects on time
**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification or license in HVAC/R preferred
- Proven experience *(5 years minimum)*as an HVAC technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of HVAC systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and design specifications
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
- Knowledge of welding techniques for HVAC system installation and repair
- Familiarity with air conditioning systems, including refrigeration principles
- Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
