Job Opportunity: Journeyman Electrician – Industrial Applications
Great Basin Staffing LLC is hiring an experienced Journeyman Electrician with expertise in industrial electrical systems. This is a great opportunity to work on complex projects with potential for long-term or direct placement. The ideal candidate will have experience in water treatment facilities, PLCs, motors, controls, and engineering specifications, along with the ability to manage back-office paperwork.
Position Details:
- Location: North Salt Lake City
- Start Date: Immediate
- Pay Rate: $38 - $42 per hour (based on experience)
- Duration: Temporary with potential for long-term or direct placement
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems.
- Perform work on water treatment facilities, including PLCs, motors, controls, and cable trays.
- Interpret and work from schematics, plans, and prints.
- Manage back-office paperwork and ensure compliance with engineering specifications.
- Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines and maintain safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Active Journeyman Electrician License.
- Extensive industrial experience, including water treatment facilities.
- Proficiency with PLCs, motors, controls, cable trays, and related equipment.
- Strong skills in reading and interpreting schematics and engineering documentation.
- Ability to handle administrative tasks and back-office work efficiently.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility for project demands.
