Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plumbing and construction, demonstrating the ability to work effectively in various environments, including residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing systems, the ability to read blueprints, and proficiency with power tools. As a Journeyperson Plumber, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining plumbing systems while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
Duties
- Assemble and install plumbing systems in accordance with local codes and regulations.
- Perform pipe threading and welding tasks as necessary for system installation.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete installations and repairs.
- Maintain existing plumbing systems by conducting regular inspections and performing necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.
- Provide maintenance person services as needed for minor repairs or adjustments.
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Carry a plumbing license in Georgia.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair techniques.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
- Experience with power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading machinery.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on construction sites.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid plumbing license or certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks associated with plumbing work.

Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 32 per week
