Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. The technician will work on various equipment types and must be adept at troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units and ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating and cooling systems, providing effective solutions.
- Perform equipment repairs as necessary, including welding and plumbing tasks related to HVAC installations.
- Design and build custom HVAC solutions tailored to specific client needs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all service operations.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician in the HVAC/R field is preferred.
- Familiarity with various HVAC systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration units, and heating systems.
- Skills in welding, plumbing, refrigerating, and general equipment repair are highly desirable.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams for system design is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.

Pay: $25.20 - $45.00 per hour
