We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is designed for individuals eager to learn and grow within the industry. The Apprentice will work closely with experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of our operations.
Apprentice will assist Team Lead with the following:
- Perform TAB services for air and hydronic heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in new construction and renovation projects
- Test and balance HVAC systems using established AABC & NEBB procedures with company provided testing equipment, manufacturer software, and general math skills
- Duties include measuring and adjusting airflows and recording operating conditions of equipment such as current, voltage, rpm, etc.
- Read and interpret system blueprints, specifications, and performance data to analyze system performance for compliance with contract documents. Isolate problems and implement adjustments where necessary
- Use, calibrate, and maintain security of specialized tools including temperature & humidity transmitters, Air/Pressure multimeter, Hydronic Pressure meter, Flow Hood, pitot tube, tachometer, voltmeter, pressure transducers, etc.
- Document all test results with true and accurate methods using company documentation procedures
- Communicate any deficiencies or recommendations to supervisor and client continuously throughout the project
- Coordinate closely with other construction trades such as electrical, mechanical, and temperature control contractors, as well as design team
- Uphold the company’s values and perform with a strong work ethic and driving sense of urgency
- Follow all company, jobsite, and OSHA safety policies and practices
- Continually improve and develop advanced technical skills to better serve the customer, which may entail seeking out reference manuals and attending educational seminars with the support of the company

Pay: $53,568.00 - $62,801.00 per year
