Position Overview:
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is the liaison between prospective customers and the EAS team. A successful BDR has a hunter mentality and innate drive to exceed goals.
Desired Outcomes:
- Build a strong top of funnel through cold calling, email, and creative sales tactics
- Work closely with senior sales leadership to define target buyer and company personas, and build lists using sales platform
- Research each target to identify key decision makers and uncover detailed information to accurately qualify opportunities into the sales pipeline
- Quickly identify and qualify leads to hit high volume targets
- Qualify new customers and opportunities
- Follow up on inbound leads and identify qualified opportunities
- Present our value proposition effectively
- Set appointments for Business Development and Account Growth teams when a lead reaches a qualified stage
- Consistently meet or exceed quotas

- Ability to quickly build rapport with clients, strong customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organization, and time management skills
- Problem solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Collaboration – work effectively with others within EAS and cross-functionally
- Stats to be regular on the company’s top producer’s list
- Expert knowledge of our materials, products, processes, and costs
- Excellent attendance is essential – we need you here to provide an outstanding experience for our customers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- Experience in sales or a related field (cold calling a plus)
- Understanding of franchise/real estate/mid-market industry and market trends
- Proven track record of successfully meeting sales targets and achieving growth
- CRM software experience a plus
- Must reside in the state of Texas
