Flight Power Repair Group, LLC. is a privately held corporation headquartered in Doral, Florida specializing in providing MRO solutions for the aerospace and industrial markets. We specialize in the repair and overhaul of commercial jet engine components for CFMI CFM56-ALL Series, GE CF6-80C, CF34-ALL Series, Rolls Royce RB211 and Pratt & Whitney PW4000. We also offer repair and overhaul services for industrial turbine components on the Pratt & Whitney GG4/FT4, and GG8/FT8 aero-derivative gas turbines. In addition, Flight Power Repair Group provides a wide range of specialized services for engines, aircraft and landing gear applications which include; Vacuum Heat Treat, Solution and Precipitation Heat Treat, Stress Relief, Shotpeening, Plasma Spray, Cleaning, Ultrasonic Inspection, FPI & FMPI, Welding, Machining, protective coating applications.
SUMMARY: Responsible for maintenance and repairs to the facility and equipment. The Maintenance technician performs hands-on repair and maintenance to ensure the facility and production line is operational. Examines machines to diagnose trouble, dismantles machines, replaces defective parts, reassembles machines, and makes necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operation. This will be maintained through service requests and preventative maintenance procedures by the OEM.
Reports to: Director of Maintenance
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
General:
- Follow preventive maintenance schedule as prescribed.
- Perform basic electrical maintenance and simple repair/replace of various electrical circuits and related electronic equipment,
- Demonstrate mechanical proficiency for hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Perform preventative maintenance on facility equipment (i.e. Powered Industrial Trucks, HVAC, air compressors and dryers)
- Minor plumbing repairs.
- Clean lubricate and calibrate equipment as required
- Responsible for observing all applicable safety requirements and observe and follow all safety procedures reporting immediately any unsafe practices/conditions.
- Responsible to be thoroughly familiar with all tools and equipment
- Properly record the work performed on the appropriate maintenance record.
- Responsible for daily housekeeping.
QUALIFICIATIONS:

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Hydraulics experience
- Light welding preferred
- Exhibit a strong work ethic that includes a good attendance record.
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule to include weekends, and overtime
- Strong organization skills and a detail oriented and efficient work style
