Controls Technicians- All Levels

TITLE: Controls Technician I
REPORTS TO: Director - Controls
JOB DUTIES / GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
The Controls Technician I is an entry-level technician with basic knowledge of HVAC systems, basic computer operations and controls. This technician is able to install controls inclusive of terminating wiring and has the ability to do lower-level startups and commissioning, however, is not proficient in programming or diagnosing control problems. This technician does not function unsupervised and is not tasked with supervising subcontractors and maintaining schedules.
TITLE: Controls Technician II
REPORTS TO: Director - Controls
JOB DUTIES / GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
The Controls Technician II has a solid grasp of HVAC systems and controls, some programming experience in at least one line and has the ability to do lower-level startups and commissioning. This technician has more than 3 years of experience in controls industry and may hold a certification in controls programming of BACnet Advance Application Controllers and operation knowledge of Niagara AX or N4. The technician is able to diagnose, repair and program trouble situations in most cases, as well as coordinate activates of subcontractors and maintain schedules on smaller jobs.
TITLE: Controls Technician III
REPORTS TO: Director - Controls
JOB DUTIES / GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
The Controls Technician III is an experienced technician, and he/she is expected to be capable of all of the Technician II responsibilities but also must be certified in controls programming of BACnet Advance Application Controllers and be certified and considered proficient in programming and Niagara AX or N4 as well as IT computer networking. This position is also capable of all diagnostics, repair and programming in the field. This position will also oversee the more complicated jobs involving subcontractors as well as function as the foreman for self-performed work.
The Controls Technician will be involved in many areas of Building Automation and Energy Management Controls, and will perform duties in Controls Service, Construction Startup and Controls Programming.
Compensation: $25.00- $35.00/hr
