Job Title: 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician
Company: First Call Staffing- Direct Hire
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Position Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Monday - Friday 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm with OT as needed that may require coming in earlier or staying later
Saturday’s coverage may be required.
Starting Pay: $30.00 per hour + $1.50 shift differential
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Respond safely and efficiently to maintenance and repair needs for equipment and machinery.
- Promote a safe work environment by following all safety programs and guidelines.
- Coordinate and schedule repairs with the area supervisor.
- Communicate repair schedules with affected employees in the work area.
- Troubleshoot, plan, and execute repairs.
- Provide support and training to less experienced team members.
- Write preventative maintenance procedures and develop schedules.
- Document all repairs thoroughly.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area using the 5S system.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Mechatronics or related program preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of maintenance experience in mechanics, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, plumbing, and machine repair OR 5+ years of related hands-on experience.
- Skills: Strong computer skills, communication abilities, leadership, and the ability to read electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
