Weather Masters is seeking an experienced commission based Service Technician to join our growing HVAC division. Our company is in growth mode, and we’re looking for technicians that are up to the challenge and want to see their efforts pay off.
Applicants need to have exceptional technical skills, high quality service standards and be excellent trainers to junior technicians. They need superior problem-solving and organizational skill, and above all, they must have great communication with customers and management. Service Techs report directly to the service manager and are supported by an excellent customer service and dispatch team in office.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Promote the shared values of Weather Masters to customers and employees in all interactions
- Service of Split Systems (Horizontal & Vertical), Package Systems, Mini-Splits (Single & Multi-Zone) and Duct Modifications
- Update and maintain all physical and electronic project documentation
- Advanced experience in presenting repair and replacement options
- Inform and educate customers on additional products or services available through company
- Advanced electrical and refrigeration principles
- Air balancing principles, techniques and diagnostics
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints and make accurate material lists
- Complete service repairs as approved by customer
- Ensure jobs are completed on time and communicate exceptions to management and customers
- Report problems with equipment to dispatcher to expedite the repair process.
- Educate customers on use of their systems
- Take proper care of work area and provide outstanding quality and customer service
- Attend company trainings and assist with other HVAC duties
- Help train lower level technicians as needed
- Rotating on-call assignments for emergency services
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid driver’s license
- EPA Universal Certified
- Demonstrate willingness to accept responsibility and leadership roles
- Understand and communicate benefits of preventative maintenance
- Demonstrate advanced customer service skills and have ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and coworkers
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and without direct supervision
- Experience in training and mentoring service technicians a plus
- Nate certification a plus
