Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work under the supervision of experienced electricians, assisting with various tasks on commercial, industrial, and residential job sites. Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to electrical projects.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively under supervision.
- Support experienced electricians in troubleshooting electrical issues using tools such as multimeters, IR scanners, circuit tracers and more.
- Participate in the construction of electrical frameworks and installations while adhering to National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems is preferred; prior experience as a commercial or industrial electrician is a plus.
- Familiarity with NEC standards and safety practices related to high voltage work.
- Ability to use power tools effectively and safely.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop skills in frame carpentry and electrical installation.
- Must be able to work on construction sites, which may involve physical labor including lifting heavy materials.
- A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $27.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
