Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Commercial Plumbing Expertise:
- Perform a wide range of plumbing tasks in commercial settings, including repairs, installations, and maintenance.
- Adhere to industry standards and regulations while working on commercial plumbing systems.
- Advanced Plumbing Systems:
- Utilize advanced skills to work on complex plumbing systems, including house pumps and Sovent systems, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
- Boiler Repairs and Installation:
- Conduct repairs and installations on boilers in commercial properties, including system diagnosis, parts replacement, and system testing.
- Cla-Val Inspection, Repairs, and Installations:
- Inspect, repair, and install Cla-Val valves and systems in commercial plumbing applications, ensuring proper operation and compliance with regulations.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks related to gas piping, sump and ejector pumps, backflow prevention devices, and other commercial plumbing equipment as needed.
- Assist with larger projects, provide guidance to junior plumbers, and ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry regulations related to commercial plumbing work.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs, installations, and maintenance activities.
- Complete service reports and documentation in a timely and thorough manner.
Qualifications
- Journeyman plumbing license or equivalent certification.
- Extensive experience in commercial plumbing, including proficiency in all Level Two Commercial Plumber tasks.
- Expertise in working on house pumps, Sovent systems, boiler repairs and installations, and Cla-Val inspection, repairs, and installations.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and background required
Education and/or Experience
High School diploma or equivalent
Journeyman plumbing license
Language Skills
Bilingual (preferred)
Physical Qualifications
Ability to lift 25 pounds, work in extreme conditions, similar requirements of field personnel.
