Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, with experience in primarily residential electrical work.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in commercial and industrial environments.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
- Conduct tests using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other testing devices to ensure proper functionality of electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues by diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations during all work performed.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Electrician in residential & comer settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with low voltage and high voltage systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other relevant equipment.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team while demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills.
- Relevant certifications or licenses in the electrical field are highly desirable.
