Summary: We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician with 10-15 years of expertise in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems for commercial and residential properties. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing outstanding technical service, excellent customer interaction, and a deep understanding of HVAC systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure system efficiency and longevity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for both residential and commercial clients.
- Conduct system performance tests and recommend improvements or upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, local codes, and manufacturer guidelines.
- Educate customers on system operation, care, and maintenance best practices.
- Complete service reports, update records, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with customers and team members.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 10-15 years of HVAC service experience in residential and commercial environments.
- Education: High school diploma or GED; advanced HVAC training or certification preferred.
- Certifications:
- EPA Type II (Preferred)
- EPA Certification (Preferred)
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various HVAC systems and controls.
- Familiarity with energy-efficient technologies and practices.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid New Jersey driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and withstand varying environmental conditions.
