Job Title: Plumber
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. The role requires expertise in diagnosing issues, providing effective solutions, and ensuring all work complies with local plumbing codes. Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, fixtures, appliances, and drainage systems.
- Inspect and diagnose plumbing issues, providing accurate and honest assessments.
- Install and replace water heaters, faucets, toilets, bathtubs, sinks, and other fixtures.
- Repair or replace broken pipes, fixtures, and water lines connected to appliances like dishwashers and water heaters.
- Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Install, repair gas lines.
- Respond promptly to after-hours, weekend, and holiday service calls (no extra charge to customers).
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain the scope of work, timelines, and costs.
- Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a licensed Plumber (license/certifications may vary by location).
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
