Summary
We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. This position is critical in building, maintaining and repairing commercial refrigeration systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability for our clients. Must have EPA certification and HVAC/R certification. 2 years of experience building, repairing, and cleaning refrigeration units
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems and components.
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting to ensure system efficiency.
- Handle ammonia refrigeration systems with expertise and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with clients to assess their refrigeration needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Conduct equipment repairs and replacements as necessary to minimize downtime.
- Document service calls and maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in HVAC/R technology.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role in the HVAC/R industry.
- Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems, ammonia refrigeration, and equipment repair.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams for installation purposes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Familiarity with safety standards related to refrigeration systems.
- Welding experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Certification or relevant training in HVAC/R is preferred.
