As a residential service plumber, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and installing a wide range of plumbing issues in our customers' homes. Job duties
- Provide residential plumbing services, addressing general homeowner needs such as installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, recommending appropriate solutions and performing necessary repairs.
- Install, repair, and maintain water heaters, faucets, toilets, sinks, and other plumbing fixtures and systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure proper functioning and compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Respond to emergency plumbing situations in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing damage and inconvenience to customers.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects and high-quality workmanship.
- Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly.
- Prepare accurate and detailed estimates, invoices, and work reports for clients.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and relevant code changes.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in residential plumbing services.
- Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing codes and requirements.
- Experience and working knowledge of all forms of pipe including copper, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, and no hub couplings
- Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Clean, safe driving record.
