Duties:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as carpenters and electricians, to ensure efficient project completion
- Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify and address potential issues
- Respond to service calls and provide field service as needed
- Troubleshoot plumbing problems and provide effective solutions
- Conduct basic math calculations to measure and cut pipes accurately
Requirements:
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of plumbing systems
- Experience in Plumbing or related field is a plus
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for commercial driving purposes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints for plumbing installations
- Proficiency in assembling, installing, and repairing pipes, fittings, and fixtures
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting heavy objects and working in tight spaces
Note: Plumbing skills are are required for this position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.03 - $30.91 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
