Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Lead Electrical Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and hydraulics, with the ability to detect issues and maintain equipment effectively. This role involves working with distributed control systems, interpreting schematics, and utilizing precision measuring instruments to ensure optimal performance of electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Detect and troubleshoot electrical faults using appropriate diagnostic tools.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and wiring configurations.
- Calibrate precision measuring instruments to maintain accuracy in measurements.
- Collaborate with team members to militarise equipment for operational readiness.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding electrical systems.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Lead Electrical Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments for calibration and diagnostics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
