Job Title: Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Pay Rate: $25 - $40 per hour

Position Overview:
MEMCO Pasadena is urgently hiring a skilled and dedicated Commercial HVAC Service Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various commercial HVAC units. You will collaborate with team members to ensure the timely completion of service calls, preventive maintenance contracts, and construction projects while maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve issues with heating and cooling systems in a prompt and effective manner.
- Install and service commercial HVAC equipment, including package units, VRF systems, mini-splits, chillers, boilers, pumps, VFDs, and basic level BAS control systems (Carrier iVu, Johnson Controls, Trane Tracker, etc.).
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and services provided.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and educating them on proper system maintenance practices.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent. HVAC and/or refrigeration certification is preferred.
- A minimum of 3-6 years of proven experience as a Commercial HVAC Service Technician with a strong commercial background.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with commercial air conditioning, heating and cooling systems, chill water/hot water components, and operational BAS controls.
- Previous experience as a lead or foreman is preferred.
- A valid TDLR Technician card is required.
- EPA Universal license is required.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC issues efficiently and accurately.
- Strong communication skills and customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting, managing time effectively.
- Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
