As a Commercial Duct Installer, you’ll:
- Interpret blueprints and design plans to layout ductwork with precision
- Install duct systems, including hanging, securing, and connecting sections in commercial buildings
- Assemble complex duct systems with fittings, transitions, and dampers for optimal airflow
- Measure and calculate duct sizes and angles for accurate fitting
- Conduct quality checks, inspecting for leaks and compliance with building codes
- Collaborate with HVAC technicians, electricians, and construction teams to coordinate seamless installations
- Follow strict safety protocols, including PPE usage and compliance with OSHA standards

- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and ductwork design principles
- Proficient in reading blueprints and using hand tools
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials, working in confined spaces, and adapting to construction site conditions
- Proven problem-solving skills to address ductwork fit and airflow issues
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with project teams
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (preferred)
