Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems, including security systems, fire alarms, and data networks.
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete wiring and installation tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to ensure proper installation and functionality of low voltage systems.
- Test and troubleshoot low voltage systems to identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on electrical systems.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions or concerns regarding low voltage systems.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a low voltage technician or in a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues with low voltage systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and interact with clients.
